Privacy Policy
How ModelCop collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our website and platform.
01 · Scope
This policy explains how ModelCop LLC ("ModelCop," "we") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the ModelCop website and platform. Where ModelCop processes data on behalf of a customer, that processing is governed by the customer's subscription agreement and Data Processing Agreement (DPA), not this policy.
02 · Information we collect
We collect only what we need to operate, secure, and improve the service.
| Category | Examples | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Account & contact | Name, work email, organization, role | You / your organization |
| Usage & device | Pages viewed, feature interactions, IP, browser, timestamps | Collected automatically |
| Configuration | Connectors, policies, and settings you define | You |
| Communications | Messages you send us; support and sales correspondence | You |
03 · How we use it
- To provide and operate the service and your account.
- To secure the service — detect, investigate, and prevent abuse or security incidents.
- To support and communicate with you about the service.
- To improve the platform and develop new capabilities.
- To meet legal and contractual obligations.
04 · No model training on your data
We do not sell personal information, and we do not permit our AI sub-processor to train foundation models on customer content. Data processed through the platform is used to deliver the service to that customer only.
05 · Sharing & sub-processors
We share information only with the vetted sub-processors required to run the service, and only as needed:
| Sub-processor role | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Cloud infrastructure | Hosting, storage, and network (AWS, US region) |
| Identity / SSO | Authentication and single sign-on |
| AI inference | Model-assisted analysis (no training on customer data) |
| Notification delivery | Email and message delivery for alerts |
We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect rights and safety. A current list is on our Sub-processors page.
06 · International transfers
ModelCop is operated from the United States and hosts customer data in a US region. If you access the service from outside the US, you understand your information is processed in the US under appropriate safeguards.
07 · Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, then for the period required by contract and applicable law, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
08 · Security
We protect information with the controls described on our Security page — encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access, tenant isolation, and continuous monitoring.
09 · Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
| If you are in | You may have rights under |
|---|---|
| The EU / UK | GDPR / UK GDPR — access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection |
| California | CCPA / CPRA — know, delete, correct, opt out of sale/share (we do not sell) |
| Other regions | Comparable rights under local law |
To exercise a right, email privacy@modelcop.ai. We respond to verified requests within the timeframes the law requires.
10 · Cookies
The website uses essential cookies needed for it to function and may use limited analytics to understand usage. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
11 · Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform and our practices evolve. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date above and communicated to customers as required.
